INITIAL CONCERNS
Located in Fort -de- France, the economic capital of Martinique, the l'Hôtel de L'impératrice needed to better direct their revenue through a management system. While already well known in the area, the Hotel struggled to maintain consistent reservations during the off-season. Without a channel manager or reservation central system, it was difficult for the hotel to manage the reservations for its 22 rooms, all with extremely different configurations. In this context, JBT Consulting was hired to improve upon the hotel’s reservation systems.
OUR APPROACH
REVISING THE OFFER
We revised the general pricing to be per room and not per occupant, added a option without breakfast included, and developed a seasonal pricing package.
IMPLEMENTING SYSTEMS
We installed a reservation center and a channel manager connected to the PMS, and trained the team on these new tools.
CONTINUED MONITORING
We continued to monitor the revenue over the next 3 months, sending daily updates and weekly reports.
FINAL RESULTS
Thanks to our plan, the Hôtel l'Impératrice saw continued revenue increases :
+30% for the first year,
+20 % over the second year,
and +15% during the third year
